Well I just got in from a walk and realized it is still mitten season! This pair of fingerless mitts has just been posted in the SHOP section of the Handmade in Canada website.
The mittens are made of 100% Canadian produced wool. I then hand dye the wool in natural dyes; this pair has been dyed in lac. The mittens I then knit by hand. In addition to pattern and texture detail at the wrist, the mitts are also beaded. These are a truly one-of-a-kind item.
The mitts are sized to fit a woman’s medium or large hand. They have a little more coverage over the fingers than the average fingerless mitt in order to keep out the chill of Canadian weather.
We have one pair only of these mitts available and they are priced at $45.00 CAD plus GST and shipping ($5.00). Currently we only ship within Canada.
