It has been a very busy knitting season filled with custom orders and loads of knit maple leafs. One of the best parts of having a teeny business are the personal thank you notes that you receive. 

I’ve found Instagram to be a great format for connecting with locals. Through Handmade In Canada I have met so many great people. It is really nice to make items by hand and to see the appreciation people have for these items. Handmade businesses are special, they are personal, and that makes every custom order or sale so much more rewarding.

I’m looking forward to next year and all the new people I will meet through Handmade In Canada. Who would of thought that a little bit of yarn  and some wooden needles would have been able to create so many great connections !
